Tryout Information

We are currently in the middle of our 2024-2025 Flyerette Season. If you are interested in trying out for the 2025-2026 Flyerette Dance Team, please keep an eye out late winter/early spring for a tryout packet and details. Until then, take a look below at our requirements to begin practicing your skills. Thank you!

*In the 2025-2026 tryouts, an aerial will be a required skill to make the Varsity Flyerettes. However, it is not a requirement for the JV level. A front walkover and other acrobatic skills are not a requirement for any level, but can be showcased at tryouts. 

Required Physical & Payment of Fines

• Completed Register My Athlete profile.  During this process, you will complete the following documents within Register My Athlete:   

• Physical completed and signed by a physician and dated July 1, 2023 or after if physical is good for 2 years.  Some physicians mark only good for 1 year.  Upload  under the MSHSAA Physical Form section on Register My Athlete.  If physical will expire need to get a new physical before tryouts begin.  If cannot get into your primary care doctor, you can go to Urgent Care.

• Pre-Participation paperwork to be completed by Athlete and Parent on Register My Athlete.

• $35 activities fee payment.
